Do you know of any children that live in Kent and go to schools in a different county?

There are a large number of children in maidstone who go to medway grammar schools. Also a number of children from ashfird go to tenterden which has a different 'scheme of education'.

Plenty of children on the southside of TW that go to Beacon and Uplands, although I get the impression that the latter is getting harder to get into.

Why do you ask? :)

I know parents from Edenbridge and Cowden who send their children to Sackville Community College in West Sussex. I know of children from Rusthall and Langton Green who go to either Beacon or Uplands in East Sussex.

It should be saeid that two years ago Medway almost advertised for Kent residents to apply, and allowed the 11+ to be taken very late, to fill unallocated places.

They did it this year too DadofKent. There was a huge advert in KM Maidstone Edition for two weeks running after allocations for Chatham boys. They even had open days too, to see the school first and then sit test. That was certainly geered to lure Kent residents.
