I dont live in any of the wards in Zone A but I have spoken to the school who said that only 59 of the 150 places were offered to boys in Zone A last year. I know they are put in rank order of scores but I would still expect more boys in Zone A to be offered places. Can anyone explain what I am obviously missing please.

Not all boys in Zone A want to go to Dartford Grammar school, we are in Zone A & most of boys from DC's school went to Wilmington and Beths last year, hardly any chose to go to Dartford. Different year groups have different trends.
