Does any one have a DS at this school?

Views about pastoral care, extra curriculum activities, discipline, anything to help make a decsion will be much apprecaited.

I have a DS in year 8 and we have been really impressed by DGS. The Middle Years Programme that they follow seems very innovative and gives plenty of opportunity for original thinking alongside more traditional study. There is lots of extra-curricular activity, both in school time (this week is Creativity Week which for year 8s has included a trip to the Globe Theatre and, I think, today they are discussing the relative merits of Richard III) and after. The discipline seems strong but fair, and we have found the teachers to be very supportive and helpful. All in all, I would highly recommend it!

I believe it's rugby, cricket and athletics.
