Re: 2010 Required Raw Scores
On trying to convince my daughter that she is more that capable of passing the test, I have shown her the above table to try and boost her confindence.
She immediately said well those calculations are wrong to score 141 in NVR 50/72 is not 71%, and to score 120 in NVR 37/72 is more like 51%! Needless to say her maths is not the problem, if anything drops her its the dreaded NVR! Good Luck to everyone today!

Well done her! The percentages are the pass percentages, the scores are the raw scores needed at 10yrs 10 months to achieve that percentage....I believe.
Re: 2010 Required Raw Scores
I don't really follow. If the pass score is not 120 what was the raw score needed to pass?

Re: 2010 Required Raw Scores
The pass score is 360, the 120 is based on a child scoring 120 on all three papers will then score the required 360. Last year the pass score was 119 as long as when all scores were combined the total was 360.....ie. 119,120, 121.....then the child would pass.The raw scores needed to score 120 or 141 varies by month born, the scores, and percentages, I put are the ones that KCC told me my ds would have needed last year to score 120/141 at 10 yrs and 10 months.

Re: 2010 Required Raw Scores
My ds got max score which I very much expected after his success at Olave's & QE. I am delighted for him as all the hard work paid off. Not trying to exaggerate but I would say that scoring max in Kent (70-80% raw score) is easier than getting into Olave's, QE & Wilson as one has to actually edge out other children to come out on the top. Anyways, another one off the back and we know exactly what to prioritise in CAF.
Re: 2010 Required Raw Scores
Sorry I still don, t follow. The percentages do not equal the fraction in at least two of the raw marks listed in the little table.;kysiesmum wrote:bexamy wrote:On trying to convince my daughter that she is more that capable of passing the test, I have shown her the above table to try and boost her confindence.

Re: 2010 Required Raw Scores
Does anybody know the minimum raw scores required for 120/141 in 2013?
Re: 2010 Required Raw Scores
Hi
There are some figures on this discussion.
http://www.elevenplusexams.co.uk/forum/ ... 12#p404912" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You can call Admissions and ask them about the minimum and maximum raw scores for a child your age.
