When we will hear about exam centres?

Just wondering for all those OOB pupils, does anyone know when we will hear about which test centre we will have to go to & the timings? Seems really close now, my DS will have sat the Kent practise paper before he has gone back to school (yes, its a very late return - 12th Sept!) Is there any rhyme or reason as to where we will be sent, I'm assuming that as we live in Bexley it will be at Dartford or Wilmington, was hoping to go with a friend but will the boys go to a boys school & the girls vice versa? And what do you do with yourself for those hours when the DCs are beavering away apart from nervously chew the ends off your fingers???

Please don't chew your fingers in the practise tests. Will need them all for the real thing and the month that follows!
