Dear All,

I am new to this forum and have a question I hope someone would be able to answer.

My DD passed her Kent test but we are out of Kent borough. We fall under category 5 of the oversubscription criteria, unfortunately she did not score as high as last years cut off which I understand was 415 for OOB. We are most probably going to go for an appeal. My question is does any one have information on statistics for grammar school appeal successes particularly Dartford grammar? if so could I have the link or information please.

Hi Success, the cut off last year for OOB was 413 but obviously no one knows what it will be this year. I heard there were 60 appeals last year and 15 were successful. The admissions lady at DGSG is very helpful if you need any information. Good luck.

Hello Yummy Mummy,

Thanks for your response, my dd is about 15marks off the cut off for last year so I think we have to go through the appeal process. Thanks very much the info, I will call dartford grammar to request more info.
