I was having coffee with a group of mothers in Sittingbourne this morning and they were talking about children doing the Kent test a year early. I've never heard of anyone doing this - has anyone else? It's only of academic interest to me now, but it might be useful information for someone else.

Their is a boy at my daughter's school who has taken the 11+ a year early in North Yorks.

He is a year up at school and will go to Grammar a year earlier.

I think they allow this in exceptional circumstances for very gifted children.

Footymad xx.
