Worth an appeal?

Hi,

Thought I would get a better night's sleep last night but after finding out DD hadn't passed, was kept awake wondering about chances of appealing.

Her scores were 129 VR 121 NVR 111 Maths so total aggregate was 361 needed.

Her preferred GS is The Mayfield Grammar school in Gravesend which was under subscribed last year & HT advised that 2 out of 3 passes was well worth appealing.

Her HT advised me to put her in for 11+ in May & this is when we started practicing. (Oh how I wish I'd started earlier).

Did a couple of M.C. maths paper before test & both times very accurate but DD didn't finish papers so on the day ahe said she rushed through the maths so she didn't run out of time.

Her year 5 levels were: Maths 4c/4b Reading 4b+ & English 3c/4a. Her english can be hit & miss with story writing but her understanding of the English Language & Vocabulary is high.

Would be grateful for any feedback.
