Hi all, we recently moved to Kent and new to the area. DD has been offered a place on TGS and we were researching on places to stay for longer.

We were considering Orpington, Tonbridge is very nice but Oprington works out to be more economical. Any suggestions on how is the commute or if its a bad idea. I found out that that trains are really good and it takes about 20 mins, door to door is a little longer tough.

Also, if there are any TGS pupils from Orpington?

Hi, I know a few girls that go to TGS from Orpington.... it's generally not more than 1 or 2 a year. They love it ... say it's definitely worth the journey. They live either in easy walking distance of the station or have parents who drive to station. Train takes 20 mins and they are home just after 4.30. Hope that helps.
