I live on the borders of Bexley/Dartford but am in the borough of Sevenoaks and my daughter will take the Kent Test. We only have the choice of three schools, whilst Bexley, Bromley etc. have the opportunity to put down six. You may say well you only need one school ! But it is very difficult when your child is deemed to be possible selective, so I will need to put down selective which will be Dartford or Wilmington, and perhaps both, that leaves me only one place for non- selective, whereas I would also like to put down Leigh City just in case we stood a chance. My problem lies not knowing whether my daughter will pass on not, her cat scores are good on math and nvr but her vr is 109, so as the cat results are used for appeals this could jeopardise her chances. What do others feel about this, or any advice.
