Re: When do the schools find out the scores???
It does apply to all, even though it is strictly irrelevant for any OOC who aren't in the process of moving into catchment. Last year 110 OOC "passed" the Kent Test via the Headteacher review.Push wrote:I presume this does not apply to the out of catchment/county applicants?yoyo123 wrote:In Kent, the headteacher can appeal and send extra evidence ( school books etc) before the parents get the results.

Oh, ok. Surely, in that case, it would matter to the OOC applicants who are eying the super selectives?

You need more than a pass to get into a superselective....
Re: When do the schools find out the scores???
yes, unfortunately. Here in the East of Kent, passing teh Kent test means a grammar place, unfortunately further to the west , this does not apply because of the "superselectives"Ladymuck wrote:You need more than a pass to get into a superselective....

Last year was fine though. Pretty sure every kent resident who passed and wanted a grammar place ultimately got one didn't they? All the superselectives in this neck of the woods are close to ordinary (!) grammars.

I think The Judd required a high score for OOC. Not sure how low it actually went though!
Not far off full marks standardised though I believe.
