Our daughter seems to be in top 25% of class in independent school. We are considering 11+, but our main option is TOGS as out of area place. Last year the scores required to secure out of area place ranged from 420 (100% in all papers) to 406. Even if our daughter is bright enough to have a go, she could have a cold/off day etc. and not get 100% to guarantee place. We had not considered a tutor but worry this is a huge gamble to get in. Our other option is to move into Kent area. Has anyone had to make this decision, if so, what motivated final decision. We have plenty of time as child is only in year 4, but we want to gather as much info as possible.
