This is the new freedom pass info from the KCC site.
At the bottom there is a questionnaire about how it will affect you.
I understand the revised 'U turn' may be preferable to many but I would urge those of you with younger children to consider the fact that Kent want to charge £400 for the 16+ bus pass which clearly is a huge difference from what you pay for your children now.
There is an option on the questionnaire to comment on this.
We will not be paying for the £400 pass but I will take him car. I think Kent were hoping to avoid this but at the moment that will be the best option for us.
