Hello,

Weald are consulting on whether to go co-ed to allow for a new Grammar being built in Sevenoaks.

If your daughter is starting in September and you have accepted a place at Weald have you received a consultation letter from The Governor, Mr Bower ?

It gave you a yes/no option for whether you wanted Weald to expand into Sevenoaks ?

Deadline for consultations are 21st March (this Friday )

Just to add - hope not to stop people answering your questions JJ123, the earliest they could admit boys is into year 7 in September 2016 as the admissions policy for September 2015 is already determined. If they did go co-ed, I don't know if they could fill spaces higher up the school with boys when girls leave --- they'd be a bit outnumbered but there might be a few brave ones out there!

Yes my understanding is, subject to places, (brave ) boys would be able to start in any year group post 2016

Just wondered whether anyone from the school has even asked new parents .... surely they have
