My son has been offered a place in St olave's. Should I drive him (25mins) or put him on a train (35mins)? The nearest train station from us is Longfield, change at Bromley South for Orpington. Has anyone done this journey before??

I have a feeling that there is a school bus route to ST Olves from Swanley so you can get a train to Swanley from Longfield. The 477 goes from Swanley Station into Orpington. Alternatively, there is probably a public bus service from St Mary's Cray station that will take you close to the school (if not direct).

Thank you. I will have a look. I also found out that there is a direct bus from Bluewater to Orpington station if anyone else is interested.
