Anyone think they might change it again
Thanks

I think they have to change the Maths this year - more questions in a longer time frame. 25 minutes of Maths isn't really enough.

And they need to make the English harder, as there was no age differentiation possible at the top end last year.

The familiarisation document for this year is apparently going to be pretty much the same as last year.

It was the English that was rubbish. The top standardised score right down to the minimum standardised score to pass only covered a very small number of questions. So the English will have to be harder and / or more questions in the time.

The maths seemed OK (longer papers of course would be more reliable but that just isn't going to happen) and the reasoning was 1 hours worth so, apart from the fact that it's impossible to distinguish verbal and non-verbal so a weak performance on one is masked by a good performance on the other one, the overall score will be a better discriminator than the rubbish english paper.
