Good luck to all taking the Kent test this year! Now DS will be taking the Kent and Bexley test next year . Does anyone know what subjects he will have to do ? Last time we did this it was maths, verbal and non verbal with a short English writing piece of work . Next question - will it be GL or CEM next year ? Thanks for all your replies .

DCs had to give the test in all four subjects: Maths, English, VR and NVR. This was followed by a writing task. You can check the Kent Council website for this year's format.

Is spatial separate exam and requires to qualify separately.

It does not say so anywhere. So I think it is a part on the NVR paper. We will know more once the results are out in October.

The 2015 test, like last year's, will result in an overall Reasoning score, combining NVR (including spatial) and VR marks and converting to a standardised score. There will be separate scores for English and Maths, meaning three scores in total.

It is not known yet what will be entailed in the 2016 test. The tender winner should be announced soon. The KCC website is the place to keep tabs on developments - or else the relevant threads in this forum.
