Out of county
Is it true that there are less out of county places in schools this year? And will this have a dramatic impact upon the scores required to secure one of these places?
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Re: Out of county
You would need to check the individual admissions criteria for the schools that you are interested in.
So, for example, but DGS and DGGS reserve some places for 'local' children (though their definition of this varies between the schools) and then rest of the places are up for high scorers who are not 'local'.
If you were looking at Judd, or Skinners then you would need to look at their rules.
To say there are less OOC places doesn't really make sense, all that matters is the schools that you are interested in.

I expect the number of applicants to remain the same or increase. So I'm guessing that schools who still have places available will suck in more applicants and competition will be higher. But maybe I don't understand the system properly...
