Waiting for offer day...

Post by vinitasurya »

Is it me or is February dragging on really slowly? The wait is just killing me!

Have DC number 2 this September so trying hard to just focus on her at the moment. How is everyone else feeling?

It really is! I feel sick every time I think of it. My elder DS had the benefit of a Likely, Possibly, Unlikely letter from St Olave's in his year, and none of the uncertainty of the new cut-offs for out-of-county children for Judd, so we knew where we stood much earlier. This is torture!

The wait is terrible. Somehow DH and DS don't seem to be bothered at all. Wonder why I am stressing myself over such a trivial matter!

It was even worse when you didn't even know whether they had passed or failed until you received the offer on allocation day

Today's the day secondary schools receive their allocation lists from KCC and primary schools are informed by KCC what offers will be made to families next week. (Is it the same for other authorities?)

So we've got a week of trying (not) to interpret headteacher body language...
