Hi, can anyone tell me when the appeals process will be over (ie. when everyone will know whether appeals successful or not)?
Was there a deadline for appeals to be made, or can they be made at any time?

Thanks! :D

The the following link on the Kent gov website maybe helpful:

http://www.kent.gov.uk/education-and-ch ... hool-offer" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If it doesn't answer your questions I would call the powers that be for the school you are interested them and ask.

If Kent is like Essex, appeals are only scheduled for term-time. The deadline to apply by if you wanted your appeal to be heard within the current round would have been notified to you along with your school allocation in March. It is normally about three weeks after national allocation day.

rhc are you waiting for an appeal or for waiting list movement as a result of appeals being hard/successful?

The latest I've heard of so far are Weald, which are scheduled for end of June so results will be sent out 5 days after last appeal. Some, such as Skinners' took place this week but the results probably won't have been sent out yet. It all depends on the dates that each school has chosen so without contacting all schools, or finding out from their website, if they put them on there, it is hard to judge when they will be over. However, as previously said, they have to be during term time so it should probably be safe to to assume that they will have taken place by the summer holidays.

The deadline to actually lodge an appeal for any school was 13th April 2016.
