I asked for DS's raw scores out of curiosity - plus it's a good illustration for others. He is May born so 10 years 4 months at the time of taking the test and they were as follows:

English: 16 / 24 (113)
Maths: 18 / 24 (127)
Reasoning: 62 / 80 (133)

Looking at these scores, I'm surprised at the massive difference in the standardised scores for maths and English, when the raw scores are only two points apart! Why would this be?

I requested my daughter's raw scores as well, having found last year's analysis very helpful; it certainly stopped us panicking when her maths scores bounced between 50-85% !

She was 10 years 0 months on test day:

English raw score 25 (standardised 141)
Maths raw score14 (standardised 117)
Reasoning raw score 54 (standardised 125)

I am assuming that Englaish & maths were out of 25 and reasoning out of 80, but this wasn't confirmed in the email I received.

No, nor were mine, but from what DS said afterwards I had thought English and Maths were out of 24, but your scores would definitely indicate 25? Thanks for sharing them :)
