Kent grammar exam format

Post by Psgs »

Hi,

My daughter will do the test next year. I need some information regarding Kent grammar test. I understand there are two section : Session 1 - Eng and Maths and Session 2: Reasoning. Am I right?

How long is the Kent grammar test?

How many questions in Eng and maths? what is the timing for each Eng and maths?
What is the timing for the reasoning paper? Is VR, NVR and spatial reasoning combined in one paper of it is separate tests?

Is there a break between each session?

Please let me know.

Thanks

Thanks for the response.

I checked Kent familiarisation booklet and it says:
The whole test takes around 1 hour, with 25 minutes for the English section (plus 5
minutes practice) and 25 minutes for the Maths section (plus 5 minutes practice).

It doesn't say how many questions are in Eng and how many in maths?

A quick search on 'raw scores' in the Kent section of the forum produced this thread from the last exam:
