Can anyone tell me any more about this? My DD was one of four selected out of 60 that went to the local heats and won and they have the county final on Wed. I can't find anything about it at Primary level on the web and I would like to know more about it. What was really funny was there was two sequencing question and as three of the four are sitting DAO in November they were busy looking for an VR style sequence and it was months of the year and colours of the rainbow!

It does not sound like a competition I know about ... not a National one anyway.

Here is the website for the national maths challenge but that's not until November & is for both yr 5 & 6

It does have some sample papers for practice anyway. The finals paper for January/Feb is much harder so would probably be good for what you are looking for if its of the same type of level. You need to score 27 or higher to get through to the February final on this one, so quite tough in the time limit.

Rosered - The Primary Maths challenge is not a team event and is for any Primary aged pupil - not just Year 5 and 6.
