Volume please help.........

Post by toy »

Back to volume,
We just did a bond test, where it was stated that the volume of a kettle is 5litres, I find this ridiculous as the biggest kettle I've ever used is 1.8l.
I've also noticed that under volume, similar items are mentioned in the question papers, regardless of author, hence the question:
Can someone please give the expected volumes for the following:
Egg cup
Bath
Bucket
Swimming pool
Tea cup
And any other, people might be aware of.
Many thanks!

The NFER bucket

instead if S.I. units maybe we should have NfER units?

I had a pupil who was way out on her estimate of a milk bottle but she had several broithers and sisters and her mum always bought 6 pint plastic ones from the supermarket.
