longer maths questions
Please can anyone advise whether there are any good books of papers for working on longer maths problems? Our 11+ exam (set by CEM) has sections of short mental arithmetic and 1 or 2 of longer questions involving multiple steps with more of a verbal element - you need to be able to read and digest the information provided and work out a logical way to solve the problem. I have been using Bond and Schofield & Simms for the short questions, but they are getting a bit repetitive and don't tend to include many longer style questions with several parts to them. Just wondered whether anyone had come across a book of exercises at the right level that would be helpful for this?
