Hi has anyone got the GL Assessment Pack 2 Paper 5.
Am I right in thinking that Q. 4 doesn't make sense? Is there an error in the question? Or have I missed the point totally?

It talks about some biscuits and plates but doesn't mention how many plates.

Sorry, I have just worked it out. There is not enough info in the question. But it is multiple-choice, so you can work out which answer is a possibility from the answers on the separate multiple-choice answer sheet. I forgot to look at the answer sheet, I thought that all the info to answer the question would be available in the question itself.

I agree that there is definetely an error in this particular question and the pack itself is also riddled with errors. The questions are worded in an ususual way that left DS and myself confused. I am thinking of sending mine back if this conitnues with verbal and non verbal.

Our 9 year old daughter worked it out as 21. I couldn't do it. apparently it is 7 plates with 3 biscuits on each. Our daughter is a member of Mensa and I am not maybe that is the difference!

I'm glad it is not just us! We could not do it at all! We had the answer sheet - 21 - but we could not do it.
