Bidmas/Bodmas

I'm sure it was BIDMAS rather than BODMAS when I was at school!? I'm also sure we didn't do this until high school.
Why the change; does anyone know?

Bodmas when I was a school and that was a very long time ago!
I thought it changed to Bidmas ..

It has been known to be called bedmas as well!

It was BODMAS when I was at school (a long time ago too. We were the first batch allowed to use calculators for O Level maths exam!!).

There were only 4 (mechanical) calculators in the whole school when I took my O level Bromleymum!
