11 Plus Exams Forum

Hi can anyone give me some advice on how to teach my DD about nets of a cube. I have researched on the internet and there 11 possible cube net patterns. Is there any easy way of teaching these or does my DD just have to learn them by memorising the patterns?

i used physical models for DS to better visualise the net, use paper to cut out the net..
