the latymer school 2008 paper 11
Q NO 11:add one half of 6.1 to one half of 3.9.
the answer is:5
can anyone explain the work out please.thank you.

half of 6.1 = 3.05
half of 3.9 = 1.95
3.05 + 1.95 = 5

Q NO 11:add one half of 6.1 to one half of 3.9.
Since we want to add half of both of them then it's much easier to say 6.1+3.9 = 10 then find half of that

we tried to divied and we couldn't and now we got it .thankyou very much.
