Hi all,

My DD sat the tiffins test and I can see from the forums that a lot of parents are disturbed from the tiffins late test announcement. It is indeed not fair with us but cant do much :/

I wanted some guidance regarding maths resources as I didnt touch maths at all as was primarily focusing on NVR and VR. Could anyone out there kindly give me a list of books/past papers/resources that can help me start with the preps.

Many Thanks :)

not from your area, but going by Kent test I would be sure of times tables, factors, multiples ( times tables again!), prime numbers, square numbers, co-ordinates, area and perimeter. Also problem solving/word problems

Seeing yoyo's list reminded me of this, which we used. :D

The problem is that this is the first year that Tiffins are holding maths and english tests so nobody actually knows what the questions are going to be like. I would suggest that you find material that is level 5 maths and make sure that your DD is very comfortable with it. Has it been announced as to whether the maths paper is in standard format or multiple choice?

I gave my pupil the level 6 paper from 2012 as there were some good problem solving questions.

I've just looked at the links sent by stevew61. They look really useful; but the final two on verbal reasoning and English, that follow the list of maths aids, don't work. Could EPE reinstate them, as I'm sure they'd be as helpful as the maths! :D

Those links should be:
