Bond Maths books

Hi,
ds year 5 (will be sitting joint sutton grammar schools test in Sept) is currently doing the bonds age 10-11+ maths papers for practice and GL assessment test papers. The Bond book states that the tests are at the same level required by the eleven plus exams. Should he be aiming higher and doing the Bond age 11-12? I don't want to bombard him with extra topics if he doesn't need to learn them. The sutton schools say they test in line with KS 2.
Any thoughts?
