Post subject: IPS and Nfer papers
PostPosted: Tue Aug 28, 2007 2:51 pm
My daughter would be sitting nfer type questions in November and we've used all the Nfer papers in maths. Can anyone advice if IPS maths test paper are similar in format and difficulty to the Nfer before I buy them and I don't want to go back to using Test papers that are simpler than Nfer :?:

thanks

Hi guest,

We found that the 35mn IPS papers were very simlar to NFER, just a bit harder. That was 2 years ago.
The 35mn lenght is good for practice. There was a few errors in the papers at the time but nothing that bothered us and they are probably corrected by now.

We are in the process of doing IPS papers and have found errors in them mostly in the maths. If your child appears to get a question wrong double check yourself before you mark it as they may well be actually be right. Son and husband have found it very frustrating today!!
