Dame alice question
How to do this question without using simultaneous equation
3 sweets and 2 toffee cost 30p
2 sweets and 4 toffee cost 44p
What is the cost of 1 toffee.
I can do this with simultaneous equation but this is going to be difficult for 10 year old .can anybody pls tell me if there is an alternate method

The second is the same as 1 sweet and 2 toffees cost 22p - can you see how from there?
