Manchester grammer problem
Can anyone pls help me how to do this without simultaneous equation
2 oranges and 3 lemon = 64
3 orange and 4 lemon =. 89
What is the cost of 1 orange
2 oranges and 3 lemon = 64
3 orange and 4 lemon =. 89
What is the cost of 1 orange
Re: Manchester grammer problem
Multiply top equation by 4 and bottom equation by 3 to give
8 oranges and 12 lemon = 256
9 orange and 12 lemon = 267
So 1 orange = 267 -256 = 11p
Hope that helps
8 oranges and 12 lemon = 256
9 orange and 12 lemon = 267
So 1 orange = 267 -256 = 11p
Hope that helps
