Multi-step word problems
Dd needs more practice with word problems involving data interpretation (so, journey times, train time tables, cooking ingredients). Any recommendations please?
Re: Multi-step word problems
WW, we are in the same boat. I have ordered CGP level 6 books(study, workbook and tests) and book1 of 'Superselective maths'. Don't know if it has any train time table questions or cooking ingredients questions. I will report in some days.
Re: Multi-step word problems
Hi, I don't know if this helps, bond 10-11maths and 10mts books has this type and for CEM this is enough (I think). You don't need to do all the questions but pick the one you want.
Re: Multi-step word problems
Oh! Is it? I do have those bond books but not looked so deep. There is so much material (mostly passed on from friends) all around in our study that my head goes dizzy. I resort to picking up whatever there is which 1. Is not marked on 2. Has the answer sheet 3. And the answers and give it to dd to do. I then reassure myself saying anything is good practice....
