Year 5- what do I do ?

Hi, my son is currently in year 5 . Just wanted to know how much time I should be spending on bonds a day and which topics to focus on .Any advice appreciated .
Is your son in the top sets or not?
Do you live in catchment or outside?
Do you want top GS or any GS would do?
Is not getting into GS going to be end of the world?
