Can you help us. Pls. How shall we solve. This problem
£12 is shared between Emily,Claire,and Jo in the ratio of 9:5:2
How much do they receive?
The answer is 6.75, 3.75, 1.50 but how

£12 is shared between Emily,Claire,and Jo in the ratio of 9:5:2
So how many 'pieces' do you need to have if you are giving 9 to Emily, 5 to Claire and 2 to Jo? Once you know that then you can solve it.
