do kids really need to show working out in standard format
My son mostly solves in mind and doesnt show the working out. Does he need to show working out in standard format papers?

Is this for a state school, or an independent? For state schools it is usually a question of 'you may use (this) space to do your working out'; for indies you may get 'method' marks even if you put the wrong answer, I thinki-mum wrote:My son mostly solves in mind and doesnt show the working out. Best thing would be to look at a part paper for the school in question, to see what the instructions are?
