Q 1

6 lollies and 3 ice-creams cost £8.52
3 ice-creams and 6 drinks cost £9.24

Add the above 2 rows together so:

6 lollies + 6 ice-creams + 6 drinks = £17.76

so

1 lollie + 1 ice-cream + 1 drink = £17.76 divided by 6 = £ 2.96

Q 2

Answer is 200 since two-thirds of the times you would draw blue (two-thirds of 300 is 200)
