Post subject: Maths SATS Level at 11+?
PostPosted: Tue Aug 08, 2006 7:10 pm
Dear All,

I appreciate that there will not be an exact answer but does anyone know what National Curriculum Level (including a, b and c if known) the students who pass 11+ get in Maths at KS2.

Obviously 5 is going to be a common answer but does anyone know the raw score on the KS2 SATS from a successful candidate.

Thanks

hi Richard

My son passed the Slough 11+ and recently achieved 5a (96%) in his Maths KS2 Sats.

AS slough 11+ takes the average across the three papers (Verbal/Non Verbal/ Maths)... his high Maths & Non-verbal scores made up for his low verbal
this was echoed in his sats results as his English was a 5c (72%)

Regards

Chad

Hi Richard, My son failed the Berkshire 11+ by a few marks(but got through the Bucks thank goodness) and in his SATS results he achieved a '5' in Maths - we were not told A B or C but i do know he scored 91 out of a 100.

Sara
