Hello there
Mds has some revision to do for a math test. He can recall how to use a stem leaf diagram but can anyone explain the quickest way to find the mean, mode and range whenusing one. I have been on bbcrevisewise but cannot find examples of finding the means etc using the stem leaf. Should he use the same method as with any other graph
Thanks
Mel

Stem and leaf is usually used to help find the median as you are putting the numbers in order.
Range = largets value - smallest value
Mean - calculate as normal
