Best book to use for maths 11plus

Can anyone pls tell me the best books to use for practice for 11plus maths and non-verbal reasoning. I live in Kent. I use the bonds series for now, but I find that they are not enough.

Hi Mercy

The Tutors Maths CD1 is a syllabus for the range of questions contained in NFER practice papers and Maths CD2 contains 20 papers written in the NFER format of 50 questions per paper. Both CDs contain bonus material for helping with mental arithmetic skills.

Have a look at the free demos on the interactive CDs section.

Publications by Peter Robson are also popular for preparing children for the tests. These are available from the book shop on this site. The Maths CD by Peter Robson reflects the content of the books.

Eleven plus
verbal reasoning
Method and technique
By Nicholas G.Stevens
There is a green one and a red one.

There is another one for verbal reasoning
It is called 11+ verbal reasoning practice test papers
By Susan J. Daughtrey M.Ed
As close to the real 11+ as possible

Hi 11+mum

The publications you have referred to are for preparation for Verbal Reasoning tests, not maths tests.

The mathematical content of verbal resoning tests is significantly different to the 11+ mathematics papers.
