Car pooling?
Just wondering if anyone's tried this? We expected to have to move so that our son could get to school more easily, but am now considering trying to find him a lift through Lincshare from Lincoln to Caistor. Obviously safety is an issue, but it seems like a good potential option travelling with someone who's going there anyway and paying for their petrol. What does anyone else think?

Hi - haven't heard of the scheme - but it could be worth trying to link with other parents in the same direction, even if you have to meet at a mid point. I'd have thought there must be someone else from your area. Maybe the school would include a flyer or match up system or put it on their website. The pupils don't have to be in the same year.
We shared lifts - may have to check insurance implications but it worked well for us for quite a few years.
