and then a week after that it will all be over :D

Really looking forward to this time next week.... VR is DD's worst subject out of the two, so we'll be glad to see the back of it!

Once it's all done with we're going to have a nice day out to make up for all the hard work over the summer

VR is my DS best subject :) but I can't wait for it to be over

It's a scary thought, isn't it :)

Spare a thought for those in Trafford. The first exam here was today! (We have separate exams for each of the 7 grammars in Trafford.)

Well, to be fair the kids can't possibly do all 7 exams, as 2 schools are girls only, 2 are boys only and 2 are Catholic, but it's not uncommon for a child to do 4 of the exams. However, they all have their differences, so we have to cover maths, VR, NVR, English and creative writing, depending on the combination you pick.
