Good luck for Tuesday. Keep positive if you can, anything is possible just look at the successes on this site despite parents feeling all was against them it came right in the end. I wish you every success and have everything crossed for you.
Rehab awaits, but remember once in it's hard to leave

How are you feeling this morning? Keep postive and keep posting and we will all try and support you as much as we can. I understand how important this decision is to you and your child, but remember there are always others that on the same day at the same time will be making equally if not more important decisions with regard to children and because you are going through all this anxiety and heartache, you are only doing it because you love, care and support your child as much as any parent can and because of that you are a GREAT PARENT and no-one can ask for more. KEEP POSITIVE AND STONG!Doobie wrote: Well this is how I feel this morning - shattered have been dreaming about appeals all night!! They had to ask me to leave in my dream as I had been talking for so long lol lol really need Rehab before its all over. Roll on Tuesday!
Well slept a bit better last night - might have something to do with a couple of large glasses of Rose!! unfortunately though this does not stop me dreaming about it!
My work colleagues must be fed up with 11 plus appeal talk so thankfully I have this site to turn to, however supportive people are unless you have been through it - it is impossible to understand how draining these things are. Feel a lot more together and now I know a bit more what the panel want I have a little chink inside me that says "we can do it" . Thanks everyone it is lovely to have all your great messages of support, have never been on anything like this before but it is wonderful, will certainly be recommending this to my friends who have the 11 plus 'experience' this year.
Thank you x

failed appeal
Hi there Guest 55 - well wrote to the headmaster regarding our case, he did respond but felt that there was nothing he could do and said I should take it to the LEA and the ombudsman if it continued to cause me 'anxiety' so guess what - I HAVE!!

Hi Doobie,
I know how you feel at the moment, it’s awfully exhausting and an emotional journey. You can do this though and you will come through it.
Just remember to focus on the important things "Academic evidence."
Everyone is behind you 100% and when this is all over we will still be here rooting for you.
Nobody can ask anymore of you, you have done everything within your power for your child and I'm sure with you as a parent your son will do well wherever he goes.
I'm will be thinking of you on Tuesday.
Let us know how it goes.
Best wishes,
AM

Doobie,
Will be thinking of you tomorrow. Is it am or pm as I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Let em know. Double check your appeal pack and then have a relaxing evening and a good nights sleep so that you feel nice and refreshed and positive. If all else fails rely on Bachs rescue remedy, it works wonders! TAKE CARE
