So NVR is multiple choice, option of answers etc, buy not VR. Sorry i am being silly.

Hi

If the school is part of the Lincolnshire Consortium the papers are one Standard Verbal Reasoning (not multiple choice), then a NVR (multiple choice).

Hope i have that correct but maybe someone else can confirm.
My head is spinning with all this at the moment as my DS sits a test for Caistor this sat then a test at Queen Elizabeth on the 15th and 22nd Sept and a final test back at Caistor on 29th Sept.

I will be glad when its all over.

Good Luck

Forgot to mention that the VR test is 100 questions in 50 mins.

Hope that helps

just to add, if it is the consortium paper, nvr is 3 sections of 16 questions to be completed in 8 minutes and one section of 17 questions to be completed in 8 minutes. With VR - the time is for the whole paper - i.e 100 Q's in 50 mins, so you can miss questions out and go back, with NVR it is timed section by section, so no going back if you miss anything out on a previous section and no going forward if you have finished a section with time to spare.

Both VR and NVR are Standard format as posted in the sticky. This means the answers are written on the question paper itself, not on a separate answer paper as in multiple choice format. However, all the NVR questions and some of the VR questions will take the form of selecting one or more correct answers from a number of possible answers.
