Hi, not 11+ I know but the closest we're going to get to it in Lincoln itself.....

My daughter sat the recent Saturday master-classes assessment "test" and also one for maths extension classes to be run on a weekday afternoon.

We believe the results will be available in July but as we're heading off on holiday very soon and won't be back until the 1st August I'm worried that, if she has been lucky enough to get a place on one or other of these, we'll miss out on accepting by a certain date if the letter arrives whilst we're away. I'm not overly confident that she will get in as we rather foolishly didn't do any practice in the run up and whilst talking to other parents/overhearing conversations around us waiting when the assessments were in progress there had definitely been some practice/preparation done by quite a few children.

Does anyone know when the letters usually get sent out telling the child whether they've got a place or not ? Also does anyone know if there is a deadline for accepting ?

Thanks in advance or any information/advice.

Hi Millipede,
I don't know the answers to your question, but why don't you just phone the school?
