I'll cut to the mustard. We were told if we are hoping to send our daughter to the Grammar School we should refrain from sending the Entrance forms in until after the results are issued.

Where other told the same?

It is sensible to wait for results before sending in the form or applying online. If your child passes, all well and good, you can put the Grammar first. For some people the actual score may dictate which Grammar they put first if they are in a position to apply for more than one. If your child does not pass it would be a waste of a choice to put down the Grammar (unless it is a near miss and you are going to appeal, in which case it should still go on the form).

There is no advantage in getting the form in early. It is just essential to get it there or apply online on time.
