Test papers

oh dear I must seem very anxious. But this is really my last query for today. I am using Bond for both VR and Maths practice. Do they roughly equate to Medway standards or would I better using a different course? I must say I do like Bond - the maths in particular seems very well set out.

It has been a great relief to find this forum!

Hello again anxious year. I would recommend using a variety of materials. In my opinion the more the child is prepared the less fazed they will be on the actual day. The Bond books are good for VR and math, but I would also recommend the IPS papers, they are shorter (35 mins I think) and easier than the actual test but good practice. If you start working through them now then your child will probably forget a lot of the questions and you'll be able to do them again next summer.
Also I found the downloaded programs from this site useful, my children found it a bit different doing questions on the laptop at home.
Hope this is useful.

Thanks medwaymum for all your replies. It is very useful to be able to chat to those who have already been through it.
