How has everybody been getting on with the Medway Open Evenings? Fort Pitt was last night and had a record amount of visitors I believe!

We attended the Fort Pitt open eve on Thursday and were totally blown away with the whole school. The Head Teacher presentation was truly impressive. Prior to attending this open evening and the RGS open day yesterday we were RGS biased. Following the open eve/day we are now torn.

Any advice gratefully received!!. Our daughter has a 640+ score and we live the Rochester side of RGS, far enough that we'd be on the edge of the Fort Pitt catchment area

Thanks

Hello dad223 yes I've heard v similar comments re FP's open evening! My dd is now in 6th form there and has a hugely successful and well balanced education. She has always had time to attend after school clubs and sports whilst managing the reasonable amount of homework (in my opinion). The pastoral care at FP is excellent and I genuinely feel the wellbeing of their students is a priority.
That said, I have friends with dd's at RGS who are happy also.
Good luck with your choice.
